Movie hunk Hugh Jackman has his diver brother to thank for curing his fear of heights as a child. The actor admits he'd never be able to play action heroes in films like X-Men and Van Helsing because his childhood phobia would have crippled him. But, fortunately, his older brother came up with a novel way to help him get over his fears. Jackman recalls, "I remember spending two months going to the diving board with my brother, which was actually one of the kind things he did when we were younger. "He said, 'Right, we are going to do the one-metre board, then the three-metre board and then the 10-metre board. You are going to do it over and over again until you don't feel scared going up there.' It worked."
