Australian actor Hugh Jackman found filming the sequel to X-Men easier than the original - because he was able to escape Canada's harsh winter.

Jackman admits going up to the nation during its warmer months to shoot X2: X-MEN UNITED proved to be a more welcomed experience than they trip before that.

He says, "I have to be honest, though, and tell you it was a lot easier this time, if for no other reason than we were filming in Vancouver in the summer instead of Toronto in the winter.

"We had the best summer in Vancouver in 50 years. That kind of blunts the whole cold shower thing."
