Actor Hugh Jackman is set to reprise his role as Wolverine in a new sequel, according to multiple reports.
The X-Men star is reportedly onboard to play the mutant anti-hero in a follow-up to this summer's (13) The Wolverine, according to Eonline.com, and James Mangold is in talks to return to direct the project.
The movie storyline is currently under wraps, but the project will serve as the eighth time Jackman has donned the claws and sideburns to portray James 'Logan' Howlett's alter-ego.
He first played the part in 2000's X-Men, which spawned two sequels.
The actor then starred in the spin-off X-Men Origins: Wolverine and returned for a cameo in 2011's X-Men: First Class.
Jackman will next be seen in X-Men: Days of Future Past, which is set to hit theatres in May (14).
