The Playboy Mansion house mother and secretary to Hugh Hefner, Mary O'Connor has died at the age of 86.
Mary appeared on both Kendra and The Girls Next Door, two reality shows about the lives of some of the Playboy Bunnies. One episode of The Girls Next Door was even named after her, 'There's Something About Mary O'Connor' which saw the girls, Holly Madison, Bridget Marquardt, and Kendra Wilkinson, visit her home.
On Sunday (27th Jan) Hugh tweeted: Crystal is going to visit Mary O'Conner, who is not doing very well. Mary has our prayers. We all love her.
Today, that tweet was followed up by a solemn message:
Mary passed away today. We loved her more than words can say.— Hugh Hefner (@hughhefner) January 28, 2013
Since then, the girls from The Girls Next Door, plus Hugh's new wife Crystal, have all taken to Twitter to leave their own messages for Mary.
RIP Mary O'Connor. She was an amazing person who helped me through so much. But I know she's happy with her boo Captain Bob. :)— Kendra Wilkinson (@KendraWilkinson) January 28, 2013
