Hugh Hefner (born 09.04.26) Hugh Hefner is an American magazine publisher and the chief creative officer for Playboy Magazine.

Childhood: Hugh Hefner was born in Chicago, Illinois to teachers Grace Caroline and Glenn Lucius Hefner. Hefner studied at Sayre Elementary School before moving on to Steinmetz High School. Between 1944 and 1946, Hefner served as a writer for a military newspaper. Following this, Hefner studied a B.A. in psychology at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign.
Career Hefner: began working as a copywriter for 'Esquire' magazine, but left them in 1952 due to payment issues. The following year, he mortgaged his furniture and gathered together investors to help him fund 'Playboy' magazine. The first issue was published in December 1953, and featured images from Marilyn Monroe's 1949 naked photo shoot, which drew in a huge number of readers. The magazine continued, steadily gaining a reputation for the infamously informative interviews and it's determined stance on racial, sexual and gender equality, although this was often overshadowed by the more obvious pornographic aspects of the magazine. While respected throughout the 1960s, the magazine was soon viewed as little more than a porn magazine, leading to it being banned in several countries. In addition to the magazine, Hefner hosted his own variety and talk show, 'Playboy's Penthouse', which first aired on 24th October, 1959. The show ran for two seasons, ending in 1961. The show was followed up by 'Playboy After Dark' which first aired in 1969 and again ran for two seasons. It took on the same variety and talk show format of 'Penthouse', and the combined two shows earned Hefner as star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Personal Life: In 1949, Hefner married university student Mildred Williams, and the couple had two children called Christie and David, before divorcing in 1959. In 1989, he married Kimberley Conrad and they remained together until 2010. Conrad had been 'Playmate of the Year' the year before their marriage, and the couple had two children, Marston and Cooper. Last week former ‘Girls Next Door’ star and ex-girlfriend of Hugh Hefner Kendra Wilkinson, launched an explicit twitter attack on her former friend Holly Madison, in response to Holly’s most recent claims about life inside the Playboy mansion. After 63 years, Playboy will end its practice of featuring explicit nude photographs in 2016.
Playboy will no longer be publishing nude photos of women. As of next year, as part of the magazine’s redesign, no explicit nude photographs will appear within its pages. Feminists across the World may be celebrating the shift away from such images – the battle still wages with The Sun over its Page Three – but Playboy’s decision does not appear to have been made with quashing sexism in mind.

No playboy cover for Robbie...
Margot Robbie has come a long way from the quiet Australian suburban paradise that is Neighbours – the former Ramsey Street resident recently starred alongside Leonardo DiCaprio and Jonah Hill in Martin-Scorcese-directed The Wolf of Wall Street, and is, as you can imagine, in quite some demand.
Margot Robbie is in demand following The Wolf of Wall Street
The confident actress isn’t willing to do anything though. For instance, just because she appeared nude in Scorsese’s Oscar-nominated 3-hour debauchery festival, doesn’t mean she’s stripping off for anyone, as Hugh Hefner found out when she flat-out rejected the chance to do a Playboy spread.
