Edinburgh electronic outfit Homework are here with an artistic video for their newest single 'It's All Over' due out on March 4th 2013. It will feature on their upcoming debut album '13 Towers' set to be released on March 25th through Home From Home Records.
The video is a kaleidoscopic montage of fast-forwarded and re-winded footage of city streets. It matches the fast pace of the song well and is an absorbing if slightly bizarre video to witness. The song itself is a seriously infectious beat with its upbeat synth sounds infused with the dark undertones of the vocals and lyrics. With its simplicity and repetition, it has a power that will imprint its tune into your mind for days.
The band, who formed in 2009, recorded their album just a few short weekends and in old lighthouse and it's certainly added a raw charm that is rare to find these days. Since their inception, they have earned a good deal of attention and have even been played on BBC Radio One and 6Music. Following their first festival stint at T in the Park, they have hit the likes of Rockness, Belladrum and Wickerman alongside bands such as Suuns and Wave Machines.
