For the second week in a row, Lionsgate's The Hunger Games dominated DVD and Blu-ray Disc sales. It also topped the list among rentals, suggesting that the 28-day-delay that several other studios adopt for Home Video releases may not be so effective as previously believed. Another Lionsgate release, Freelancers , which was supposed to have had a brief theatrical release earlier this month, went straight to home video instead -- home-video rental , that is. The film, despite having such name stars as Robert De Niro, Forest Whitaker, 50 Cent, and Dana Delany, reportedly received appalling receptions at preview screenings and atrocious reviews from critics who bothered to write one up. Nevertheless, it debuted at No. 4 on Home Media magazine's rental chart. Also making its debut this week was the Sacha Baron Cohen spoof the Dictator , which entered the sales chart at No. 3 (behind the second week of The Lorax ) and No. 2 on the rental chart.
