Australian beauty Holly Valance has revealed men are more likely to compliment her on her shoes than ask her out.
Holly Valance doesn't get asked out by men.
The Australian beauty - who is currently dating Millionaire property developer Nick Candy - owns an apartment in a predominantly gay area of West Hollywood and as a result the men she meets are more likely to compliment her shoes than try to flirt with her.
She said: "I bought my own condo in West Hollywood. It is the 'gaybourhood'. The most I get from men, walking home from the bar is, 'Mmm nice shoes.'"
Despite shooting to fame on Australian soap 'Neighbours' and guest starring on US TV shows 'Prison Break' and 'Entourage', Holly hates fame and feels like she is "dying inside" when she is the centre of attention.
In an interview with The Sun newspaper, she said: "I have always craved normality. I want love and attention from those who know me. That honestly is enough.
"When I am the centre of attention, I try and act my way through by talking slowly and moving slower. Otherwise, I speak fast and sound like a crazy person. Most people don't know that I am dying on the inside. It is like putting on body armour to protect myself. I admire those who do it effortlessly."
