Holly Madison wants to give her baby an ''unusual'' name.

The former 'Girls Next Door' star - who has previously dated Hugh Hefner - is taking inspiration from Gwyneth Paltrow when it comes to naming her unborn baby and is searching for the most unique name possible.

She told US Weekly: ''I don't what to say what the names are, but I will say that they're very unusual. Kind of Apple-ish, along those lines.

''I don't like common names at all. If I've heard it before on somebody more than one time than it's out!''

The busty blonde and her party planner boyfriend Pasquale Rotella have chosen not to disclose the sex of the baby, but are delighted about the arrival of their first child and have already started preparing for its arrival.

Holly - who announced her pregnancy to her boyfriend via text in August - gushed: ''We're not telling anybody yet, but we found out and I'm really excited! I'm really excited about decorating the nursery, so we've already started buying some things there.''

The 33-year-old star is preparing to step down from her role in raunchy Las Vegas strip show 'Peepshow' and is searching for new ways of keeping fit as her pregnancy progresses.

She explained: ''There's a lot of dancing on the show [to keep me fit]. Also, I've been getting pregnancy yoga and pregnancy Pilates DVDs for my house and have been trying to work out every day and be healthy.''

Holly also confessed that her former Playboy Bunny pal Kendra Wilkinson has yet to give her any advice about pregnancy.

She told Hollyscoop.com: ''No, not at all, not yet'' but insisted she is receiving support from ''a lot of other people.''
