The Need You Now hitmaker's wife, Cassie McConnell Kelley, will welcome their first child in February after years of struggling with fertility issues. In a message on her lifestyle blog, McConnell Kelley writes, "Charles and I are SO BEYOND EXCITED to share with y'all that we are expecting a baby...! Like, ecstatic and I'm crying even as I type those words!" The couple was told by doctors there was only a one per cent chance of her becoming pregnant naturally. She continues, "This journey to become a family of 3 has been a long, interesting, sometimes fun and sometimes heartbreaking road - a journey that I want to share... because I know there are a lot of women out there who have walked the road of a fertility struggle and we can all grow, heal, and understand each other better through our shared experience. "We started trying to conceive our child a few years ago without any luck - many months went by with negative pregnancy tests and a lot of shared frustration... We went through several years of trying before finally seeing our fertility doctor in Nashville this past November. When all was said & done our doctor... informed us that we had about a 1% chance of conceiving a child naturally. Yeah. 1%..." After receiving the difficult news, the Kelleys decided to take time to regroup and focus on their marriage, but were "shocked" when they learned a baby was on its way. She adds, "We decided to hang out this summer, relax, enjoy and live our lives fully & happily... We had a lot to be thankful for and we wanted to carry that joy & thankfulness with us, not the weight of trying to become parents. We made a plan to regroup this fall and explore other options to expand our family. Then it happened. "I woke up one morning in June and there it was, a positive pregnancy test. I was in shock. Hillary Scott From Lady Antebellum Makes The Latest Knocked Up Celebrities List

Lady Antebellum Hillary Scott Charles Kelley Dave Haywood Jennifer Nettles Kate Middleton Prince William Fearne Cotton David Walliams Lara Stone Peaches Geldof Rochelle Wiseman Marvin Humes Claire Danes

The list of pregnant celebrities just keeps getting longer and longer this year with Lady Antebellum member Hillary Scott becoming the latest to be bearing a sprog, with husband Chris Tyrrell.

The country singer, 26, who married her band's new drummer in January this year, confirmed the happy news on Twitter to her fans. 'Chris & I are excited to announce that our Christmas gift has arrived a little early this year! We are having a BABY! We feel so blessed!!!' she wrote. It comes just in time as the trio, Hillary, Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood, have recently finished their huge world tour following their second album 'Own the Night's release and the news comes only days after another country singer, Jennifer Nettles, welcomed her baby boy into the world on December 6th 2012.

It's been a big year for A-List pregnancies too with Kate Middleton and Prince William's (aka the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge) news being one of the most talked about events recently. Other celeb bumps include that of Radio 1 presenter Fearne Cotton, comedian David Walliams' wife Lara Stone, Peaches Geldof (again!), recently wed Rochelle Wiseman from The Saturdays (with her hubby JLS' Marvin Humes) and 'Homeland' star Claire Danes.

Hillary Scott, the lead singer of country outfit Lady Antebellum, is expecting her first child with husband Chris Tyrrell, unveiling the good news via her Twitter this Friday (Dec 7).

The singer and Tyrrell, who plays drums in country group Love and Theft, tied the knot in January this year and have since been far too busy with their professional lives to get down to business in the bedroom properly. However, as Scott says in her Tweet, Christmas came early for the two this year with a little addition to the family expected in summer 2013.

Scott wrote on her Twitter: "Chris & I are excited to announce that our Christmas gift has arrived a little early this year! We are having a BABY! We feel so blessed!!!"

Lady Antebellum's Hillary Scott Pregnant

Lady Antebellum Hillary Scott Love And Theft

Lady Antebellum singer Hillary Scott is pregnant with her first child, with the country singer posting the good news on her Twitter on Friday (Dec 7) night.

Hilary and husband Chris Tyrrell, who play drums in the country outfit Love And Theft, tied the knot in January this year and after a year of hard work on their musical relationship, the two have ended the year on a truly wonderful personal note. Hillary took to Twitter to exclaim her excitement saying, "Chris & I are excited to announce that our Christmas gift has arrived a little early this year! We are having a BABY! We feel so blessed!!!"

Still, regardless of the fact that she has a bun in the oven, Scott has yet to find the time to slow things down with her professional life. The singer flew in to Las Vegas just moments after announcing the good news, where she and the rest of the band will perform at Monday's American Country Awards (Dec 10). That's not the end of things for the hectic festive schedule either, as the band will continue to promote their first Christmas album, On This Winter's Night, until the new year. Maybe then Hillary will be able to put her feet up for a little bit and get ready for motherhood.
