Duff separated from her husband early last year and we know, from her frequent discussions of romance in interviews, she has been on dates. However, finding love is not Duff’s priority as she revealed in a recent interview.

Duff, who is promoting her latest album Breathe In. Breathe Out., was interviewed on the radio earlier this week by Z100's Elvis Duran, as Us Weekly reports.

27-year-old Duff explained how she is juggling caring for her three-year-old son, launching an album, planning a tour and filming a television series so love is the last thing on her mind. Duff didn’t rule out the possibility of dating but stated she is not actively seeking romance out.

"I'm not bitter about love or anything like that," Duff explained. "I'm so busy right now - honestly I don’t have time to date and to be building some kind of a relationship.”

"I have a 3-year-old, I have a new album, I'm sure you know what it takes to put a record out and make it work, and build a tour and shoot a TV show, all this stuff!,” Duff added. “If it came my way and it was easy, sure I’d be into it but it’s not something I'm stressed about."

But, hang on a second... Wasn’t Duff on Tinder only a few months ago?

She certainly was but apparently Duff wasn’t interested in serious dating and wanted to keep things casual. Of course, Duff’s dates certainly came in handy as she used footage from a few of them for her ‘Sparks’ music video.

However, Duff mainly viewed using Tinder as a means of getting out of her comfort zone and trying something new. She also pointed out how being a celebrity makes dating more complicated and using Tinder enabled her to act like everyone else. Except of course for the fact she filmed her dates...

“[There was a] challenge of doing something that was so normal, that the rest of the world is a part of, that seems like something I could never do, or someone like me could never do," Duff said.

"I was like, well, I absolutely can and will and I don’t care what people say! So it wasn't like I got on like, looking for love and looking for a man like, 'I need a man!' It was like, this is funny and entertaining to me and then I actually got really surprised. There's normal, cute guys on here that have great personalities and just want to meet people!"
