DAME Helen Mirren has dismissed reports she is set to reprise her role as British monarch Queen Elizabeth II in a new film about INDIRA GANDHI.
Mirren, who won an Academy Award for her portrayal of Elizabeth II in 2006 movie The Queen, was lined up to tackle the role again in Mother: The Indira Gandhi Story, a two-part biopic about the former Indian prime minister, who was assassinated in 1984.
But the actress insists she has no interest in taking part in a new biopic.
Mirren tells WENN, "No, no. I'm not interested in biopics or anything of the sort."
Mother: The Indira Gandhi Story will be directed by Krishna Shah and is scheduled for release later this year (10).
