British actress DAME Helen Mirren finds it so easy to strip off on screen and in public, she likens the experience to "drinking a glass of orange juice".
The PRIME SUSPECT star, 58, has flashed her birthday suit in Caligula, Calendar Girls and THE COOK, THE THIEF, HIS WIFE AND HER LOVER and is set for another steamy scene in forthcoming movie SHADOWBOXER.
Mirren says, "It depends on who you are working with and if they are easy and relaxed, which obviously makes it easier. In essence it's like drinking a glass of orange juice on set.
"It's really nothing. My mother would be going, 'Yeah, good for you girl.'"
The OSCAR-nominated star admits she's so comfortable in her own skin, she regularly visits nudist beaches.
She explains, "I love being on beaches where everyone is naked. Ugly people, beautiful old people, whatever. It's so unsexual and so liberating.
"I hate the British attitude to public nudity. The sniggering CARRY ON mentality. So hypocritical, so uptight - such a manufactured scandal."08/07/2004 14:02
