Dame Helen Mirren has urged celebrities to be more careful about the way they store their private information in the aftermath of the Hollywood hacking scandal.
The entertainment industry was rocked this week (beg01Sep14) following the release of dozens of nude pictures of stars including Jennifer Lawrence and Kirsten Dunst.
The snaps are believed to have been stolen from online cloud storage devices before being splashed across the Internet, and Mirren is adamant young stars need to be more wary of technology in the future.
Speaking at a gala screening of her new movie The Hundred-Foot Journey in London on Wednesday (03Sep14), she told reporters, "I think privacy is almost a thing of the past, isn't it? It's been a thing of the past for a while... I think we're all in a learning curve about what is appropriate to put on your phone and what isn't and I think people will be far more careful in the future. And also I think the protections will get stronger, I presume."
