Heidi Klum made her return to the red-carpet on Wednesday evening (February 8, 2012) at the Gala for Aids research at Cipriani, Wall Street, New York. The Project Runway host put on a brave smile and was still wearing her wedding ring, despite her recent split from husband Seal.
The singer dazzled in a strapless black Robert Cavalli sequin dress, but it was the wedding-band that most surprised onlookers and photographers. The New York Daily News reported that, "The Teutonic hottie arrived at Cipriani Wall Street for the Fashion Week charity event with a full entourage and camera crew in tow". Despite making it usual procedure to renew their wedding vows every year, Heidi and Seal announced last month that they were splitting after seven years of marriage - they have four children together. Elsewhere at the charity event, Lindsay Lohan sported a relatively conservative gown by Tom Ford, while Liz Hurley and Cindy Crawford both wore dresses with plunging necklines. Other guests included Sarah Jessica Parker, Gossip Girl's Leighton Meester, actress Julianne Moore and singer Jennifer Hudson.
Despite the split, Seal has made no secret of his desire to reconcile, telling Access Hollywood, "There is nothing to reconcile. We haven't fallen out. We're not getting divorced. We're not even legally separated... I want our children to be happy".
