* HEATHER MILLS' BID TO BE A REAL LIFE SEX AND THE CITY GIRL HEATHER MILLS is bidding to become the real life CARRIE BRADSHAW, after buying a house in the same New York street as the SEX AND THE CITY character. The ex-wife of former Beatle Sir Paul McCartney has splashed out $5 million (GBP2.5 million) for a house in the same trendy West Village street as the brownstone used as Carrie's posh New York pad in the show and movie. And friends claim Mills hopes the move will help her emulate Sarah Jessica Parker's fictional 30-something - by finding success and finding love. A pal reveals, Heather is a huge fan of the show. Now that she has found herself single and in her 30s, she relates to the characters more than ever. She sees Carrie as a role model and the chance to own a little piece of Sex and the City and live like Carrie was too good an opportunity to pass up. Mills and music legend McCartney reached a divorce settlement in March (08) when a London court awarded her $48.6 million (£24.3 million) - nearly two years following their split in May 2006. According to the New York Post, Mills is in such a rush to make her New York move permanent, she has even brought forward the closing date on the home, so she can spend the rest of the summer in the Big Apple.
