Heather Locklear's 13-year-old daughter Ava Sambora has landed a role in Judd Apatow's upcoming comedy movie for Universal Pictures, according to TheWrap. Ava, whose father is Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora, will star alongside a host of A-listers in 'This Is Forty'.
Although little is known about the youngster's part, it is confirmed she will play "Sadie's Best Friend', with the character of Sadie being played by Maude Apatow. The movie is reportedly a 'Knocked Up' spin-off, featuring the original characters played by Paul Rudd and Leslie Man. Rudd recently dismissed speculation the film was a sequel, telling Collider, "Leslie Mann and I are playing the same characters that we did in Knocked Up and it's kind of our story". Though the part represents Sambora's acting debut, she is regularly in the public eye and also modelled for her father's White Trash Beautiful clothing line.
Her mother Heather Locklear last starred in the American television series 'Melrose Place' about a group of young adults living in a West Hollywood apartment complex. The show also featured Katie Cassidy and Jessica Lucas but was cancelled after just one season. She is currently filming television movie, 'The Assistants'.
