HBO's Game of Thrones may have become the most pirated television series of 2012. HBO GO passcodes may have become valuable currency among subscsribers' family and friends. And an HBO fan may have set up a website, takemymoneyhbo.com hoping to persuade HBO to allow its fans who are not cable subscribers or members of their families to subscribe separately to the pay-TV channel. But Time Warner CEO Jeff Bewkes said on Tuesday that the market for a separate online HBO subscription service is not significantly large enough to be attractive at this point. Bewkes made the remark during a conference call with analysts on Wednesday, noting that he could change his mind if the potential audience grows in the future. He noted that HBO Go is sold separately in Scandinavia. We're always going to keep evaluating it depending on the country, he said.
