It didn't take long. Only a week or so ago HBO yanked DVD shipments of the first season of Game of Thrones and pulled the final episode from HBO GO and iTunes, because one of the producers admitted on the making-of soundtrack that he had used a replica of the head of George W. Bush for a scene supposedly showing the head of a character's father held high on a stake. The outrage was immediate and loud, prompting an apology from HBO and the producer. Now everyone is back in business. Today's (Tuesday) Washington Post posts a picture of how the digital artists at HBO have altered the head's features, making it look, as Jon Bershad notes on, "kind of like a big blurry ball with hair."
