Harry Potter AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE actor Ralph Fiennes has declared new found love for the magical children's movies, despite initially attacking the series.

The actor, who stars as LORD VOLDEMORT in the fourth film, originally berated movie adaptations of Jk Rowling's hit books, insisting "they didn't do anything for me".

But now he admits recreating the evil role has helped him find new respect for the films.

He says, "I really loved doing it. It has a huge budget but it doesn't feel cynical at all.

"There's a real sense of enjoyment in what they're creating."
