Singer Harry Connick Jr is urging people to return to his hometown of New Orleans, insisting it has recovered from the destruction of Hurricane Katrina.
The musician - who has helped repair the city's image since it was hit by the storm in 2005 - is hoping to boost tourism and return it to its former glory.
He says, "New Orleans is the best city in the world. It is almost back to how it was. I urge people to come back and see us, see what we have done to revive the city."
