Country star Hank Williams, JR. is leading the line-up at a charity concert to promote Alabama's beaches in the aftermath of the BP oil spill.
The 61 year old was raised in Louisiana, a state also affected by the environmental disaster, and he's determined to encourage tourists to carry on visiting the Gulf of Mexico's coastline.
Williams, Jr. will perform along with Gretchen Wilson and Lee Brice at the Wharf Amphitheatre in Orange Beach, Alabama on 25 September (10).
The show is sponsored by executives at the Alabama Department of Tourism, who are hoping to bring more visitors to the area following a wave of negative publicity after the oil spill.
Actress Courteney Cox is also helping their bid for more tourists - she's reliving her childhood memories of playing on Alabama beaches for a new public service announcement (PSA).
