Outspoken country singer Hank Williams, JR. has targeted U.S. President Barack Obama in another angry tirade, accusing him of hating America at a recent gig.
The fervent Republican played the Iowa State Fair last Friday night (17Aug12) in front of over 8,000 revellers, and took aim at Obama just before playing his track We Don't Apologize For America.
He told the crowd, "We've got a Muslim president who hates farming, hates the military, hates the U.S. and we hate him."
The president is a Christian, but his father practised Islam.
It's the second time Williams, Jr. has been caught up in a controversial outburst against the country's leader - last October (11), he compared Obama to Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler.
He later apologised for the remark after his sports anthem Are You Ready For Some Football? was pulled from its weekly slot at the beginning of Espn sports show Monday Night Football.
