Sexy actress Halle Berry had a special treat for pal Oprah Winfrey's 50th birthday TV special - she showed off her CATWOMAN costume for the first time.

The sexy actress purred a special birthday message to the talk show queen via video as part of the surprise show, co-organised by Oprah's movie star pal John Travolta, which aired in America yesterday (29JAN04).

Dressed in a tight-fitting, black leather, slashed outfit, complete with facemask, she growled, "I'm sorry I couldn't whip down to be with you. Thank you for proving that one woman who's sexy, powerful, beautiful, smart could have such a wonderful impact on the world."

Berry then finished her message with a sexy, "Meow!"

Writer Maya Angelou, Jennifer Lopez, the cast of Sex And The City, TOM CRUISE, Tom Hanks, Jennifer Aniston, Julia Roberts and Chris Rock also sent video messages.

And a bald Jim Carrey had Oprah giggling when he delivered a hilarious video message, in which he pretended he was an old man.

He said, "50 huh? If I were 10 years younger, I'd show you a thing or two."

Meanwhile, reclusive Tina Turner returned to the stage to perform at the TV party alongside Stevie Wonder, while Travolta brought Oprah to tears with an emotional champagne toast, during which he stated, "We are better for knowing you."
