Halle Berry is set to star in 'The Hive'.
Brad said: ''I'm thrilled to be working with Halle on this. It's a formidable role for an equally formidable actress.''
Producers Robert Stein and Michael Helfant added: ''Ms. Berry has always been our first choice to star in 'The Hive,' and we're thrilled that we were able to put this together in and around Los Angeles with the help of the California Tax Incentive.''
Halle was originally attached to the movie when Joel Schumacher was set to direct but pulled out when Brad signed on in January citing personal scheduling issues. However, after the filming date was pushed back she has now recommitted to the role.
Rich D'Ovidio penned The Script, which is based on an original story he wrote with Nicole D'Ovidio and Jon Bokencamp.
Bradley Gallo will co-produce for Troika Pictures alongside Jeff Graup, while Philip M. Cohen and William Gallo will serve as executive producers.
