You can always rely on Halle Berry, Alicia Keys and Kelly Rowland to turn heads wherever they turn up, and the trio did just that as they arrived together that the BET Honors event in Washington DC. The BET Honors stands for the Black Entertainment Television and is inspired by the Kennedy Center Honors, seeking to award those who've contributed much to the black community through arts, entertainment, sports or other endeavors over the years.

Hosted by Gabrielle Union, this year's honorees included singer Chaka Khan, entrepreneur Clarence Avant, T.D Jakes and basketball star Lisa Leslie, as well as Berry herself. And it was Berry who stole the show on the red carpet, arriving in a classy shoulderless gown, which split tastefully at the leg. Keys looked pretty lovely herself, going for a typically dark dress that strapped around the neck.

Keys was among the performers at the event, with the Washington Post also commenting that Brandy, Erykah Badu, Wayne Brady, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis were also on hand to perform, Berry was actually honored for her charity work and, giving her acceptance speech, she said “Many women don’t speak out and they don’t seek help,” Berry said. “By honoring the work we’re doing at the Jenesse Center, maybe it will encourage others to stand up and be strong and face the reality of what’s happening to them — nd have the courage to make a change.”
