Halle Berry and Samuel L Jackson have been chosen to serve as honorary co-chairs for the 10th anniversary of the Los Angeles Film Festival.

Berry will present the Target film-maker awards to the narrative and documentary feature winners at the June (04) ceremony, whilst PULP FICTION star Jackson is hosting a reception which offers VIPs access to the movie-makers before the festival begins.

DAWN HUDSON, executive director of IFP/Los Angeles, says, "Both Halle Berry and Samuel L Jackson have been able to use their stature in the industry to support independent film, the Spirit Awards, and now the Los Angeles Film Festival."

Canadian rocker Neil Young has been named as the artist in residence.
