Half Moon Run release their new single, 'Full Circle' on the 27th January 2014. It is taken from their critically acclaimed debut album, Dark Eyes.
2013 was undoubtedly the breakthrough year for Montreal's new favourites, Half Moon Run. Following their Spring arena tour with Mumford & Sons, acclaimed Summer festival appearances, and a recent sell-out UK and European tour (including a night at London's Shepherds Bush Empire), the band dropped their beautifully arresting debut album to widespread acclaim in the Summer.
Refusing to rest on their laurels, Half Moon Run welcome in 2014 with Full Circle. As the album's opener, Full Circle is a beautifully, arresting folk-flecked song that harnesses the band's harmony-heavy sound and their incredible musicianship. It's immediately affecting, and gives a fine indication of why Half Moon Run have found themselves in front of sell-out crowds across the globe.
Instantly familiar, and yet sounding unlike anything else of the moment, this band's music speaks for itself much stronger than words on a page could ever do justice to.
Half Moon Run are: Devon Portielje, Conner Molander, Dylan Phillips, and Isaac Symonds
