The queen of GOOP’s health and beauty tips aren't as boring as you might have imagined.
In the past Gwyneth Paltrow has come in for a lot flack thanks to some of the frankly bonkers lifestyle advice she’s doled out (remember the time she told women to steam their vaginas?). But maybe Gwyneth has mellowed a bit in recent months, as her beauty tips from the latest issue of Women’s Health magazine sound surprisingly 'normal'.
Gwyneth covers the June issue of Women’s Health magazine.
“I believe, as cheesy as it sounds, in exercise, laughing, having sex, being yourself," Paltrow told the mag. ”I'm not like, 'Then I use this masque that I make on my stove.'" The actress added that she now feels way more comfortable in a bathing suit than she did 20 years ago.

"My food philosophy is 'Nothing should be ruled out,' " she explained. "I don't believe in saying, 'You're not allowed that.' If my kids want a Shirley Temple with the radioactive cherry in it, go for it, you know?"
Gwyneth said she starts each day with a coffee, describing herself without a morning caffeine hit as, ‘not a good look’. The 42 year old then follows with a smoothie after her work out and lunch is usually a big salad with grilled chicken.
But dinner is really the meal you’d want to share with Gwyneth, as her evening meal rule is simply, ”whatever I want.” "Most nights I eat with the kids, like, a stir-fry of chicken and broccoli or pasta or roast chicken and potatoes," she added.

Paltrow also took the opportunity to defend her often ridiculed lifestyle website GOOP. "It's not hippie-ish," she says. "I think Goop has become synonymous with detox because we're interested in ways to be healthy. … It's dealing with the reality that we live in a really toxic world."
