It has been just over nine months since Gwyneth Paltrow and her husband of ten years Chris Martin went through a 'conscious uncoupling,' and now the Hollywood actress is ready to talk about their well-published separation.
Paltrow said she "hit a wall" in her relationship with Martin
In the February 2015 issue of Marie Claire, which Paltrow covers, the 42-year-old star revealed for the first time why her and Martin, who are parents to a daughter Apple, 10, and son Moses, 8, decided to walk away from their 11-year romance.
"I had built my life on trying to be all things to all people, and I just couldn't do it anymore," said told the magazine. "I really had the sense that I wasn't allowed to have needs, and I had to prove my specialness or self-worth by doing all this stuff and taking care of everybody else," she added. "And I just sort of hit a wall."

"We've worked really f**king hard to get to [this] point," she added. "I feel like it's, in a way, the relationship we were meant to have."
The 'Iron Man' actress, who was criticized by her fellow females after claiming working mothers have an easier job raising their children than she does, said she is trying her best to balance a career and being a mother.
