Gwyneth Paltrow, the American actress who celebrated her 39th birthday in New York on Tuesday (27th September 2011), complained of a "horrific hangover" on her Twitter account the following morning. The star of 'Country Strong' tweeted of her suffering while at JFK International Airport on Wednesday.
After partying with friends and family, Paltrow told her followers, "Nursing a horrific hangover at the jfk. Nothing like starting an overseas flight dehydrated.Where is the dog? I need the hair". Ali Wentworth, who stars alongside Paltrow in the upcoming movie 'Contagion', said she heard the actress had a "crazy night", adding, "Happy Hang-over!!!!...Next year Paris!", with Paltrow replying, "I was over-served. It's not my fault. Or is it?" Back in May, the actress gave an interview to Closer Magazine during which she spoke about her hangover cures, saying, "I take a cold shower in the morning and then I go into the sauna and drink a lot of water throughout the day.Green tea also helps!" It is not clear whether the actress used her own techniques following her birthday bash on Wednesday morning.
The actress is currently shooting the comedy movie 'Thanks for Sharing', with Mark Ruffalo and Tim Robbins. The movie centres around three people undergoing 12-step treatment for sex addiction.
