Gwyneth Paltrow believed her movie 'Country Song' may have missed out on a Golden Globe nomination because it was placed in the drama category instead of musical or comedy.
The 38-year-old actress - who plays a fallen country singer named Kelly Canter in the well-received Shana Feste-directed project - feels it is "one of those things" she wasn't nominated for a prize, but said she was pleased for the other stars who were up for an award.
She told Access Hollywood: "You know, it's just one of those things, you know, what are you going to do? It's like you can't control the way things go.
"I think they put the movie in the drama category instead of the musical category so I guess it was just, you know. It was a good year for lots of people."
However, the movie didn't miss out completely on a nomination - it was noted in the Best Original Song category for the piece 'Coming Home'.
