Gwyneth Paltrow and Meryl Streep were among the stars who flocked to the Good Housekeeping Shine On Awards on Tuesday (12Apr11), which saw supermodel Christy Turlington pick up a prize.
The event, held at New York's Radio City Music Hall, honoured remarkable women for their "passion to change the world".
Grammy Award-winning singer Eve opened the ceremony with a song penned especially for the bash, while Paltrow was on hand to present Turlington with the Advocate Award.
The beauty was recognised for her work campaigning for maternal health around the world.
Meanwhile, late movie veteran Elizabeth Taylor was given a special tribute during the proceedings.
Other stars in attendance included Kelly Osbourne, Goldie Hawn and Ashley Tisdale, who watched as six other "visionary women" were rewarded for their activism and work to highlight female issues globally.
