Gwen Stefani "panics" when she has time off.

The No Doubt singer - who has sons Kingston, five, and two-year-old Zuma with husband Gavin Rossdale - always thought she was a "lazy" person until she realised she doesn't cope well during downtime.

She told Stylist magazine: "There's never any downtime but when there is, I feel like I'm panicking a bit or trying to plan the next thing.

"Which is weird because I always thought I was kind of lazy. In my mind, all I really want to do is eat a pizza in my bed."

Despite her success, Gwen recently spoke of her hopes that her sons will stay grounded, though she feels her career choices have "sacrificed" their privacy.

She said: "The biggest sacrifice is the kids, their privacy, a responsibility for them and not knowing if this is going to ruin their lives. They're so exposed they don't have a choice. That scares me a lot."

"But I think it's going to be fine. My children are very loved. Hopefully, they're going to grow up and not be crazy because of it. I just don't think there are that many sacrifices - I really don't want it to all go away."
