Director Guy Ritchie has sold his London pub, according to a U.K. report.
The Sherlock Holmes moviemaker purchased The Punch Bowl in the city's posh Mayfair district in 2008 and transformed the traditional bar into a celebrity hotspot, but Ritchie and his co-proprietors were ordered to scale down their private parties following noise complaints from furious neighbours.
Ritchie has now sold the venue to businessman Alexander Langlands Pearse, according to Britain's Mail On Sunday.
A source tells the publication, "They (the old owners) were determined that the new people wouldn't change its DNA."
The sale comes amid reports Ritchie is building a tunnel from his London home to a nearby street so he can access his cars more quickly.
An insider tells Britain's The Sun, "The walk only takes five minutes as it is, but Guy clearly values his time. Plus it means he can get there without being recognised."
Ritchie shares the property with his fiancee Jacqui Ainsley and their two children, Rafael, 18 months, and a daughter who was born in November (12). The director is also dad to sons Rocco, 12, and David, seven, with his ex-wife Madonna.
