Australian star Guy Pearce has slammed big-budget Hollywood films, insisting they are "embarrassing". The actor, who starred in expensive movies The Count of Monte Cristo and a remake of The Time Machine, claims no amount of money could compensate for the disappointment he suffered following his performances. He says, "You kind of realise how thin it is and you end up doing c**p work anyway. "You end up going OK, that was embarrassing and humiliating, now I've got to live that down. I'm much more affected by feeling humiliated than anything else."
