Fact: GUNS N' ROSES have sold more than one million tickets for their tour dates in the U.K., Europe and Canada in just 24 hours. Tickets for the rockers' 2017 Not in This Lifetime Tour dates went on sale on Friday (09Dec16), and quickly sold out.
Fact: GUNS N' ROSES have extended their upcoming summer (16) tour following their successful classic line-up reunion at California's Coachella music festival and shows in Mexico. Axl Rose, Slash and Duff MCKagan wrapped up their second headlining set at Coachella on Saturday (23Apr16), and now they have added a handful of extra dates for their Not In This Lifetime Tour, which kicks off in June (16). The additional gigs include a hometown show at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles on 18 August (16).

Fact: Past and present members of GUNS N' ROSES, Slayer, Lamb of God, Anthrax and Judas Priest have joined forces in the studio to record an album of original material under the supergroup name METAL ALLEGIENCE. The stars previously performed covers at events and on rock cruises like Motorhead's Motorboat, but now they have teamed up for the Nuclear Blast Entertainment collection, which features songs written by former Dream Theater star Mike Portnoy, Megadeth's David Ellefson and Testament's Alex Skolnick. An Evening Of Destruction show to Sin City for a string of dates between 21 May and 7 June (14). The group staged its first Vegas residency, Appetite For Democracy, in late 2012.

Fact: Drummers including former GUNS N' ROSES star STEVEN ADLER and Black Sabbath's Vinny Appice have signed up to take part in a tribute performance to late Led Zeppelin percussionist John Bonham. Fact: Former GUNS N' ROSES guitarist Izzy Stradlin had a post-Thanksgiving reunion with his former pal Axl Rose on Saturday (24Nov12) when he joined the singer onstage during the band's Las Vegas residency to perform the song 14 Years. The musician previously made amends with Rose and played with his old band for the first time in six years back in May (12), during a tour stop in London.

Fact: Late The Clash rocker Joe Strummer contributed guitar for JANKY HOLOCAUST, a track recorded for the long-awaited GUNS N' ROSES album CHINESE DEMOCRACY, two weeks before his death. Frontman Axl Rose has since ditched the tune from the finished album.
