Oscar-nominee Guillermo Del Toro had to buy his own Academy Awards suit, because he wasn't important enough to get a free one. The filmmaker's movie PAN'S LABYRINTH picked up three awards and three losing nominations, including Del Toro in the Best Director character. But he insists he wasn't deemed powerful enough to warrant special treatment - and instead treated himself to his first ever bespoke suit. The 42-year-old says, "First custom suit I ever had. Get it free? No, I paid. Fat foreign film-maker nominees with Spanish-language movies get no perks."
