Written and produced by lead singer Fyfe Dangerfield and all over Jo Whiley's Radio 1 show, 'Made-Up Lovesong # 43' is an elative headrush of a song that mixes a gorgeously infectious, almost childlike pop melody with a jagged drum 'n' bass rhythm track and breezy lo-fi electronics. It follows their debut EP 'I Saw Such Things In My Sleep' and the critically acclaimed singles 'Trains To Brazil' and 'We're Here'.
On request from Mike Skinner, Guillemots recently recorded an exclusive version of The Streets' new single 'Never Went To Church', which will feature as the track's B-side when it's released on June 5th.
Their debut LP 'Through The Windowpane' is released on Polydor Records, July 10th with 'Made-Up Lovesong # 43' on June 26th.
