Annie, Let's Not Wait
2006 was a triumphant year for the Guillemots. Their Mercury Music Prize-nominated album 'Through The Windowpane' won rave reviews across the board, was certified gold and - deservedly - put the critically acclaimed quartet on the map. Now, with an arsenal of national sell-out shows under their belt, they kick-start the New Year with the eagerly awaited single 'Annie, Let' Not Wait' on January 15th.
Written by Fyfe Dangefield and co-produced with Adam Noble, it's the fourth track to be taken from the debut album and follows the hit singles 'Trains to Brazil', 'We're Here' and 'Made-Up Lovesong #43'.
In a fleeting departure from the grandeur of Guillemots, frontman Fyfe Dangerfield will perform two rare solo shows comprising of just that voice and a piano on December 17th (Birmingham's Glee Club) and December18th (London's Bush Hall).
