Rocker Jack Russell's Great White band was forced to stage two concerts in Florida over the weekend (12-14Oct12) without the frontman after he unexpectedly fell ill.
The show went on for the rockers at Seminole Harley's Roadhouse Saloon in Sanford on Friday (12Oct12) and again at Brewster's Rock Bar in Jacksonville the following night (13Oct12), but, because Russell was out of commission, the group played cover songs with local artists instead.
Meanwhile, the 51 year old is on the mend - according to a post on the band's Facebook.com page, Russell came down with "an intestinal infection and had to (be) placed on (an) Iv (Intravenous drip) and antibiotics".
Due to the change in line-up, the rockers will perform two regular shows at both venues again next weekend (19-21Oct12), with a recovered Russell.
