This San - Francisco based band release their debut self-titled album on 20 th June on Atlantic Records.

The album is full of timeless rock songs and has amazing guitar hooks with fantastic vocals from Jonah Matranga. His voice is so sweet and can adapt to any diverse song on the album. My favourite song is “The greatest wonder” – this song just shows that all these bad boy musicians really do have their soft and feminine side when it comes to writing. This song reminds me of U2.

The vocals have a similar likeness to the guy from Alien Ant Farm and the drum roles are cool with rocking guitars!! The songs aren’t really love songs, or emotional songs – they’re just rock mixed with pop and great lyrics. I know that’s a weird combination for a band like this but they really could produce a pop song if they wanted.

“Feel Alright” is a good song too – the structure of this song goes up and down all of the time. At first it’s slow and sweet and then the guitars and drums kick in and they pelt out all their rage!!!

Like it or not, this band are going to be around for a long time. This album is definitely big, rock music!

“If ever” is the big ballad of the album, it has powerful vocals and touching lyrics with the big band making the song what it is!! Because of this song, I think they are a band for everyone. They prove with their songs what they can do so it’s only a matter of time when people listen to their music and appreciate it!!!

Gratitude is about to embark on a massive UK tour, if you want to check out any of the venues, visit the website at: www.gratitudemusic.com
