In a rather strange discussion, Stewart revealed to Graham Norton that he believed he had been circumcised as a child until very recently.
File this one under bizarre: Sir Patrick Stewart has revealed that he used to believe that he was circumcised for the vast majority of his life – until his wife told him he actually wasn’t!
The 76 year old screen and stage legend appeared on ‘The Graham Norton Show’, in an episode due to air on Friday (February 24th), to talk about his new movie Logan, in which he stars as X-Men head Professor Charles Xavier for the final time.
Sir Patrick Stewart's conversation on 'The Graham Norton Show' was rather eyebrow-raising
Will the referendum result mean Britain is out of the annual competition?
On Friday (June 24) Britain voted to leave the EU in a historic referendum result. The decision to leave the EU has thrown up a lot of questions for the British public, but for some, the worry that we may no longer be able to compete in the Eurovision Song Contest is top of their list.
Eurovision host Graham Norton.
But Eurovision fans have nothing to worry about, we will of course still be able to enter after Brexit. On Friday many fans took to Twitter to voice their concerns, but the contest’s official account was quick to give assurances, tweeting: ‘British referendum outcome doesn't impact @Eurovision presence of the UK. @BBCEurovision, be welcome next year!’

Barlow will be the main judge and Mel Giedroyc and Graham Norton will present on 'Let It Shine', which looks for participants for a Take That musical.
The BBC has announced that Gary Barlow will be the centrepiece of the next big talent show rollout in its search for a reliable Saturday night TV hit, with the Take That singer auditioning hopefuls with the aim of putting together a ‘Mamma Mia’-style stage musical.
‘Let It Shine’ will be co-presented by Graham Norton and ‘Great British Bake-Off’ host Mel Giedroyc, in a format strongly redolent of BBCOne’s former hit ‘I’d Do Anything’, Barlow and other judges will be seeking to assemble a new group of performers for a production called ‘The Band’, which will feature the music of Take That.
The musical in question has been assembled by Barlow and his bandmates Howard Donald and Mark Owen.

Speaking on 'The Graham Norton' show, Goldblum said "two films was enough" although he was available for the film.
Jeff Goldblum has left fans of the Jurassic World series disappointed as he revealed that he won’t be starring in the massive blockbuster’s sequel either.
The actor, who played a prominent role in the original 1993 hit Jurassic Park and its 1997 follow-up The Lost World: Jurassic Park, chose to give the 2015 re-boot a miss. Now, he’s told British TV host Graham Norton that he’s not going to take part in Jurassic World 2.
Speaking on ‘The Graham Norton Show’ this week, which is due to air on Friday night (June 10th), Goldblum was asked about the prospects of jumping back into the franchise, and revealed that while he was available, he wasn’t taking part.

Lawrence went to join his table on a night out a few months ago, but Ford didn't know who she was - "he just stared at me!"
She’s the highest-earning actress in Hollywood, but it seems that not everybody knows who Jennifer Lawrence is, as she revealed an embarrassing recent encounter when Harrison Ford gave her a blank stare of non-recognition.
The 25 year old star of X-Men Apocalypse was chatting with British TV host Graham Norton this week, filming an episode of his chat show that is due to air on Friday evening (May 13th). Recollecting the highly awkward incident, she said it happened earlier this year when she was on a night out with comedian Jack Whitehall, and spotted the Han Solo actor dining with Star Wars: The Force Awakens director Jj Abrams.

Lawrence won't be getting up to anything special on December 31st, it seems.
Jennifer Lawrence is one of the most in-demand and glamorous actors of our time, so it may surprise you to learn that she “hates” New Year’s Eve and that she always ends up “drunk and disappointed”.
The Oscar-winner and star of the Hunger Games might be expected to enjoy some of the most exclusive parties, but like the rest of us she’s endured plenty of disappointing December 31sts and isn’t expecting it to be any different this time around, she told Graham Norton in a new TV interview.

Madonna put in a victorious performance at London's O2 - the same venue at which she fell off stage during the Brit Awards earlier this year.
Madonna revisited the scene of her infamous on-stage fall earlier this year as her Rebel Heart world tour arrived at London’s O2 Arena. This time, things went off without a hitch, and the singer also allowed an unusual guest star on stage with her.
Chat show host Graham Norton was spied in the audience by Madonna, and she duly invited the 52 year old presenter onto the stage with her to dance during ‘Unapologetic B****’, at the gig at the massive East London venue on Tuesday night (December 2nd).

'X-Men: Days of Future Past' actor Hugh Jackman revealed a funny story about co-star Michael Fassbender on 'The Graham Norton Show.'
Hugh Jackman revealed he would play "Blurred Lines" to "coax" Fassbender out of his trailer
The three hunky actors looked sharp and similar, dressed in smart suits while they chatted to talk show host, Graham Norton. Jovially, Jackman told Norton, “Michael is one of those actors you have to coax out the trailer,” adding, “to get him out there was really only one song…so I used to get the sound guy to play it very loud in the studio as he came in, just so he could get his mojo up.”
The decision, according to Norton, is a disgrace
Graham Norton has spoken out against RTE’s decision to award €85,000 to gay marriage opponents, calling the settlement “absolutely moronic” according to The BBC.
Graham Norton has expressed his feelings without holding back
"I'm not registered to vote in Ireland but I do pay the licence fee there and I'm fucking furious that some of my money has gone to these idiots," explained Norton to Hot Press.

Osbourne appeared on British chat show 'The Graham Norton Show' where she revealed that she has had her lady parts tightened
Sharon Osbourne isn't exactly known for being closed off or unwilling to delve into her private life and when she appeared on the BBC's The Graham Norton Show earlier this week, Sharon lived up to her billing as an open book. Discussing plastic surgery procedures, Sharon revealed that she has been under the knife, but not necessarily where you'd expect the knife to go.
Sharon is no stranger to the plastic surgeon's knife
Osbourne was a guest on the show on Friday, 29 November, with the interview going to air on 7 December. Whilst on the show, Osbourne was complimented on her looks by host Graham Norton when she revealed that she is no stranger to the surgeon's scalpel. Admitting to having gone under the knife to keep her youthful looks, Sharon went on to explain that she has also had a few other procedures done, including having her "vagina tightened."
Robbie and his silver streak are enjoying yet another comeback.
According to Robbie Williams, if you’re in L.A long enough, you’re going to pay for some self-improvement. That’s just a thing. And that’s what happened to him, he revealed to Graham Norton, admitting that he didn’t even need to get it done; he was just bored.
"I've lived in LA for a long time and they say, 'If you sit in a barber's shop for long enough you will get a haircut'. Well, if you live in Los Angeles for long enough you're going to get some surgery,” he explained to Norton on Irish funny-man’s chat show.
"I've had a thatch done and I didn't even need it. That's the weirdest thing. I had three months off and got bored,” he revealed. Never has the ‘when in Rome’ phrase been so accurate. Williams has been sporting a hairstyle with a silver streak in his fringe.
Graham Norton has criticised the BBC for big pay-offs.
Chat show host Graham Norton - one of the biggest stars at the BBC - has savaged his employer for severance pay-offs awarded to senior staff, calling them an "own goal."
Norton, who hosts one of the BBC's most popular shows on a Friday evening, said it was "extraordinary" that in a time of cuts some BBC staff were being "handed sacks of cash."
"It defies belief," he told the Radio Times.

The Irish presenter got most of the money via his own production company.
Ever wanted to know the answer to the following question: how much does Graham Norton earn? Well you’re about to. It has been revealed that the funny-man earned £2.61m last year alone from the BBC for his television show on their flagship channel and his radio show on BBC Radio 2, The Mirror report.
He was paid for "presenter fees, production fees and royalties". These details were revealed after the BBC launched a cost-cutting campaign, which includes plans to cut fees paid to top entertainers, like Norton.
The Corporation has pledged to cut the six-figure salaries.

The first showing of Sam Mendes' 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory: The Musical' has been met with mixed reviews but that didn't stop celebrities from turning out en masse for the premiere after-party (Tuesday 25th June).
The opening night of Charlie And The Chocolate Factory: The Musical turned out to be a star studded occasion. The after party pictures show the turnout of celebrities in support of director Sam Mendes, who directed this latest production. Stars included Uma Thurman (Kill Bill), Doctor Who side-kick Jenna Louise Coleman and presenter Graham Norton. Other actors present were Maxine Peake (The Village), Andrew Scott (Sherlock), Summer Strallen (Land Girls) and Danny Mac (Hollyoaks).
Uma Thurman arriving at the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory: The Musical after party
Also attending was Glee actor Matthew Morrison who truly got into the spirit of the occasion by joyous celebrating his own golden ticket. Morrison was not the only American actor present as Sarah Jessica Parker (Sex and the City) made an appearance along with her husband, actor Matthew Broderick (Ferris Bueller's Day Off), and their son James Wilkie Broderick. Both Uma Thurman and singer Sinitta brought along their offspring.
The whole thing mostly served to remind everyone how much they miss The Fresh Prince.
The Graham Norton show brought on an unexpected Fresh Prince of Bel Air reunion this week, as Will Smith performed with his son Jaden and even DJ Jazzy Jeff paid a surprise visit. The whole thing came about as Jaden got up to prove he had inherited his dad’s rapping prowess in a freestyle, as Smith Sr. beatboxed. Jaden got an enthusiastic ovation from the audience, before his dad took over for a verse. And that’s where it got intense, as Will rapped: "Last time I was here, I did my 'Fresh Prince' rap / Eight million YouTube hits was on that / I can see your face, you like, 'What has he left?' / Well, this time I brought my DJ Jazzy Jeff!"
Cue camera pan to Dj Jazzy Jeff and the start of the most intense Fresh Prince medley television has seen yet. But it was when Smith brought on the final surprise of the night – Alfonso Ribeiro, aka Carlton himself – that things really kicked off. You have not watched television, until you’ve seen Graham Norton bust a move alongside Will Smith and Alfonso Ribeiro, in our humble opinion. Luckily, you can just scroll down to the clip, courtesy of the BBC, and feast your eyes.
Last year's final was won by a Swede
Eurovision goes where its victor goes. That’s why, this year, Eurovision will take place in Malmo, at the Swedish home of last year’s winner Loreen. Joe Nilsson, owner of the leading gay club in the Swedish city, is putting on an almighty party to celebrate the homecoming of this European singing event.
“I booked this location the day after Loreen won for a whole week, just in case," he explains to The Guardian, "I had a feeling they would chose Malmö. It's closer to Europe, closer to Copenhagen. "She's very special, and I had her even before she got famous," Nilsson says. "She had a big gay following even before she won Eurovision." He expects fans to come from Spain, Italy, France, Germany and beyond. "Someone wrote on the event web page, 'I'm coming all the way from America to see Loreen and the finals,' he says. "That's amazing." For British fans of the contest, the final will air between 8pm and 11.15pm and the semi-finals will be shown on BBC Three at 8pm on Tuesday and Thurday, hosted by Scott Mills and Scissor Sisters’ Ana Matronic.
The show will be hosted by Swedish comedian Petra Mede, while Grahame Norton will be hosting the live TV coverage of it. He took over from legendary presenter Terry Wogan, who’s nonsensical mumblings are sorely missed all over The U.K. He halted his association with the show after becoming disenfranchised with it, saying it was predicable and not a music contest any more.

Benedict Cumberbatch exemplifies why he is such a popular choice fro Hollywood producers nowadays, by giving a sinister take of Graham Norton's show trailer.
Benedict Cumberbatch is one of the hottest pieces of talent in Hollywood right now, with a host of hotly anticipated projects in the pipeline that will no doubt make him even hotter than he already is. On last nights episode of The Graham Norton Show the Brit-actor exemplified why he is so sought after by film executives by giving his own ominous take on the usually chipper trailer for the show.
Benedict, the devil in disguise?
The Star Trek: Into Darkness actor was commended on his lush voice by Norton, who then asked if he could present the trailer for the show to see if Benedict can make anything sound sinister. Proving he's a good sport, Benedict complied and gave his own take on Norton's routine, proving the point that he really can make ANYTHING sound sinister. Contact Music is not a website that generalises people, but well-spoken English men may in fact be the keepers to the gates of Hell.

Olly Murs got more than he bargained for during his appearance on Graham Norton's chat show.
Graham Norton well and truly embarrasses Olly Murs on the latest episode of his chat show, set to air tonight (March 1, 2013), revealing the pop-star's crush on Mila Kunis - as you may have guessed by now, Hollywood actress Mila was sitting just inches away. Prankster Norton read out tweets that Murs had written about the 'Oz: The Great And Powerful' actress, leaving the singer red-faced.
Murs has long tweeted of his liking for Mila, though Norton read out a few select cringe-worthy posts on his show. Olly had once selected the actress as the woman he would "most like to have kids with," much to the audience's delight. Apologising, Murs said, "I never thought in my wildest dreams that I would actually meet her," though the cheeky-chappy added, "Olly and Mila has a great ring to it!" Mila - who is in the UK promoting Sam Raimi's Wizard of Oz prequel - took everything in good humour, graciously replying, "This is so flattering".
It's certainly an all-star line-up on tonight's show, with Kunis and Murs being joined by Skyfall actress Dame Judi Dench and Side Effects star Jude Law. As musical guest, Olly will be performing his track 'Army of Two.'

Dame Helen Mirren and Paul Rudd shared a passionate embrace last night left the audience, host and other guest laughing but stunned with their antics as they discussed on-screen kisses on the episode of The Graham Norton Show that aired last night (Feb 1).
Recalling his time spent kissing Jack Nicholson (it was part of a movie), the Oscar-winning actress asked Rudd to recreate the scene from 2010's How Do You Know (in which Nicholson stared as Rudd's father) using her as the kiss recipient. Needless to say Rudd gladly obliged, but how often does an opertunity like that come up? Both looked pretty pleased with themselves too after the kiss (naturally), with Mirren gladly wiping her lipstick from Rudd's mouth post-lip lock, leaving a flu-ridden co-guest Leslie Mann clearly taken aback (and probably a little envious too) whilst the audience and host howled with laughter.
The Graham Norton show is well known for it's out of the blue antics, as is Mirren when she appears on talk shows. During her last talk show appearance on Jonathan Ross' show, the actress admitted to taking LSD in her youth, although made sure to reiterate it was her first and last time of doing so.

The British Comedy Awards were held last night, presented once again by Jonathan Ross. It saw a room of the country's funniest people come under one roof to celebrate and ridicule one another, as is the British tradition.
Twenty Twelve and The Thick of It have been compared since the former hit screens in 2011. It satirises the shambolic organization of this year's the Olympic games, while The Thick of It satirises the inner workings of the British government. However, despite audiences loving Twenty Twelve and it receiving four nominations in the three categories that it's eligible for, it failed to take home anything. Both Olivia Colman and Jessica Hynes from the show were nominated for Best Actress, but they lost out to The Thick of It's Rebecca Front. It seems an odd snub given that everyone has been celebrating all things Olympic since it was revealed that London got the deal.
Another surprise was Jack Whitehall's voted win of King of Comedy for 2012. He was up against some serious comedy heavy weights that have done the circuit for years: Alan Carr, Lee Mack, David Mitchell, Graham Norton and last year's Queen of Comedy, Sarah Millican. Initial speculation had assumed David Mitchell would get the prize, for his many panel show appearances, Peep Show and That Mitchell and Webb Look. However, Whitehall has really broken through this year, with popular shows Bad Education and Fresh Meat, which are a lot better than they sound.
Olivia Colman has been nominated twice in the same category for the upcoming British Comedy Awards. The 39-year-old, perhaps best known for playing Sophie on Peep Show, is up for Best Actress for two BBC shows, Rev and Twenty Twelve.
The decision has left some comedy fans bemused, though the general consensus is that Colman has put in two excellent performances and therefore has every right to be nominated twice. She played Hugh Bonneville's character's long-suffering assistant Sally Owen in the London Olympics comedy and plays Tom Hollander's wife Alex Smallbone on religious comedy Rev. Though having two chances to win the award, Colman still faces stiff competition to land the gong, with Twenty Twelve co-star Jessica Hynes also nominated. The Thick Of It's Rebecca Front, who plays the MP Nicola Murray, is also up for Best Actress. Colman - now considered one of the UK's top actresses - has already had a superb year, winning a slew of awards for playing an abused charity shop worker in Paddy Considine's gritty drama Tyrannosaur.
Elsewhere at the comedy awards, The Thick Of It is one of five shows to receive three nominations, along with The Graham Norton Show, Rev, Cardinal Burns and Harry Hill's TV Burp. Steve Coogan picked up a couple of nominations for Alan Partridge: Welcome To Places In My Life. This year's King or Queen of Comedy will be contested by Alan Carr, David Mitchell, Graham Norton, Jack Whitehall, Lee Mack and Sarah Millican. The award winners will be announced live on Channel 4 on Wednesday 12 December.
Robbie Williams is in the dog house for punching a pensioner in the face. Well, sort of. In his video for new UK chart-topping video ‘Candy’, the 38 year-old singer is seen giving an old woman a punch.
Williams made light of the video in an interview with Graham Norton, according to The Sun. Norton asked Williams ''That's quite a shocking image isn't it?'' to which Robbie replied: ''It is, isn't it. They wanted me to kick a dog and I'm an animal lover, so I was just not having that.” Then he added "Then they said: 'Punch a pensioner' and I was like: 'Yeah, I'm in.'" He’ll never grow up.
National Pensioners Convention general secretary Dot Gibson commented on Williams’ words: ''Celebrities should think twice before making ageist comments which seem to imply that pensioners should be treated in a degrading way. 'Elder abuse is a serious issue and needs to be tackled rather than seen as a bit of a joke. We need to be uniting the generations, not suggesting that they are different. Pensioners are just young people who grew older.''

Diaz and Paltrow appear on camera, saying that they have heard that Handler is getting a new studio, and then launch into a rap, performed by Paltrow with the beatboxed beat provided by Diaz. They cover a variety of themes during the rap from Handler's promiscuity to her drinking habits and various taste in men with the final line exposing that “50 cent told us you like it rough” amid pelvic thrusts towards the camera.
It's unsure whether the pair intended this ever to reach light of day, or merely wanted to send it to their friend. However, Handler clearly considered the good humored jibes to be a less embarrassing for her than the thrusting would be for Paltrow and Diaz and consequently popped the video online.
Graham Norton - Graham Norton is unveiled in full drag costume to publicise his upcoming role in Menier Chocolate Factory production, La Cage aux Folles, at the Playhouse Theatre London, England - He plays Zaza (taking over from Douglas Hodge) from January 19 to April 25. The story is based on Jean Poirets play about two middle-aged lovers who run a transvestite club in St Tropez. Thursday 27th November 2008
After the banal disaster that was his Gypsy 83 - a road movie whose low point where Stevie Nicks-obsessive Sara Rue falls in love with an Amish guy at a rest stop - it's truly mystifying as to how Stephens was able to pull another movie together. And yet, here it is. Since audiences have already suffered through not just one but two grim sequels to American Pie (not to mention the straight-to-video Band Camp), Stephens must have thought there was room for one more; albeit unofficial, and gay.
