Animated rock act Gorillaz are planning an ambitious final run of shows in Las Vegas, Nevada, before splitting later this year (06). The group, founded by Blur frontman Damon Albarn and animator JAMIE HEWLETT, have staged Demon Days Live shows, where celebrity fans of the group perform tracks from their Demon Days album in Manchester, England, and New York City - and now they're heading for Sin City. Albarn says, "I think it would just be a lovely end to it - just blow up Las Vegas on the last night." Albarn and Hewlett are also planning an animated Gorillaz movie before disbanding the group.
