Good Charlotte frontman Joel Madden wishes he'd never quit his previous job as a hairdresser, because the profession was a goldmine for meeting single women.

The GIRLS AND BOYS singer admits he only ever honed his salon skills so he could meet ladies.

He says, "Before Good Charlotte, I wanted to be a hairdresser and landed a job in a local salon.

"It was so much fun, mainly because a lot of girls came in to have their hair cut. It was a great way to pick up chicks."
