The 36-year-old actor starred as Will Rodman in 'Rise of the Planet of the Apes' and although his character was not set to return for the sequel, director Matt Reeves has now revealed he could make a cameo.
Asked whether unused scenes from the last film were to appear in 'Dawn of the Planet of the Apes', he told Collider.com: ''There is an appearance that he makes which is not about some ending that they ... there's no reprise of the footage that they shot of his death or anything like that.''

'Royals' singer Lorde has likened herself to 'Lord of the Rings' character Gollum, telling her fans she looks like the character on stage.
The 17-year-old star likened herself to the ugly fictional character from J.R.R Tolkien's tales during a question and answer session with fans on entertainment website Reddit.
The 'Royals' hitmaker said: ''I know when I'm on stage, I don't think about how it looks, I just concentrate on really feeling what I hear. But I totally know I look like Gollum when I perform, so it's cool.''

The 48-year-old actor - who reprises his role as Gollum in the prequel to the 'Lord Of The Rings' franchise - insists Martin is ''brilliant'' at being directed, but he also enjoyed trying to put his own stamp on the character of Bilbo Baggins in The Adventure movie.
Andy - who made his directorial debut as a second unit helmer in the film - said: ''You just don't know what you are going to get. Yet he's brilliant at taking direction. There's a rhythm that one works with Martin. He likes to try it his way and then you start saying, 'What about this?' When he gets it, it's gold. And it's so totally Bilbo.''
