'Glee' star Lea Michele is to be honoured with a Triple Threat award.

The 24-year-old actress - who plays Rachel Berry in the Fox TV series - is to receive the accolade from Billboard magazine at its annual Women in Music event in recognition of the dancing, acting and singing she does on the musical sitcom each week.

Lea - who will be presented with the award in New York tomorrow night (02.12.10) - revealed she nicknames co-star Matthew Morrison (Will Schuester) Triple Threat.

She told the magazine: "I'm really excited. At work we have a nickname for Matthew Morrison - we call him 'Triple Threat,' because he's an incredible singer-dancer-actor. And now I get to borrow that phrase, which is really cool.

"We work so hard over here at 'Glee'. Whenever we're not filming, we're in the recording studio, or the dance studio. It takes a lot to put together this show each week, so to get this specific award that honours all of those three things, is so amazing."
