News of a Glee episode based on the ROCKY HORROR movie is worrying the cast's male stars because of the costumes involved. Actors Mark Salling and Cory Monteith are nervous that they will be expected to don tiny gold pants for the special episode, which will be entirely devoted to the cult classic, reports E! Online.
The 1975 film, starring Richard O Brien and Tim Curry, saw the characters sporting a series of revealing outfits, and Glee's creator RYAN MURPHY has revealed that the boys are more than a little nervous, he said, "All the boys are quaking in fear that they will have to wear the gold lame Rocky shorts" In the episode, which will air as part of the show's second season on October 26th 2010, school counsellor 'Emma' convinces the Glee Club director to take on songs from the Rocky Horror film. John Stamos takes on the role of biker 'Eddie', who was originally played by Meatloaf in the movie.
Season two of Glee has already seen a Britney Spears special, which aired last month, recording viewing figures of 13.5 million. Spears made a cameo appearance in the episode, and stars Heather Morris and Lea Michele tackled some of the pop star's biggest hits.
