Following the Spring release of the critically acclaimed 'Gooey' EP, featuring three different tracks which topped the Hype Machine on three separate occasions, Glass Animals ready the next scintillating taster to their full-length record in the shape of 'Pools'.
'Pools' is arguably the most instant Glass Animals track to date, and a song swathed in all the unique elements that make this band such a potent, and intriguingly fresh young group.
Following packed audiences at this year's SXSW festival in March, and a series of sell-out shows across Australia, Glass Animals' genre-defying, richly textured music is spreading across the globe quickly, and far beyond the confines of their hometown of Oxford.
As part of their ever-expanding live plans for 2014, the band will play at James Lavelle's Meltdown Festival on 18th June, in the Production Arch of the Royal Festival Hall. The night, presented by Paul Epworth and Wolf Tone, features a yet to be announced range of DJ sets and live performances by some of the future stars on this exciting new label.
Glass Animals are: Dave Bayley, Drew MacFarlane, Edmund Irwin-Singer, Joe Seaward.
