LATEST: Supermodel Gisele Bundchen is being taken to court by the people
who found her dog VIDA - because they claim they were never paid the $5,000
(GBP2,631) reward she had promised.
On 17 November (04), the Brazilian beauty lost her Yorkshire Terrier and
in a bid to get her back, plastered signs all over Hollywood declaring a "no
questions asked" cash reward for the dog's safe return.
JANELLE OLSEN, 20, then stumbled across the pooch while taking her
visiting pals out on a tour of the Hollywood Hills.
Her lawyer FRANK HARRIGAN tells STAR magazine, "The dog was wandering in
the street and was nearly hit by another car. The dog didn't have an
identifying tag, so my client took it home."
Harrigan claims that when Olsen later attempted to return the pooch with
friend PAUL DOUWENGA, they were surrounded by gun-toting detectives who
handcuffed the pair.
The lawyer adds, "My clients would like an explanation, an apology would
be nice, and they want to be compensated for what they've been through."
Representatives for Bundchen have yet to comment.
